Notater
According to family oral history, Isaac came over for the California Gold Rush (about 1849) and came up to Oregon about 1851. Served briefly in the military on a US Revenue cutter ship, the Jefferson Davis, from 1855-1856 during the Puget Sound Indian Wars, but he was denied a pension for that service. He worked for Knapp-Burrell in Portland for 30 years. Buried at Mount Calvary Cemetery in Portland, Oregon.
